    Probably our new favourite beach that we can reach from Charlottetown in under half an hour. Dog friendly, drink friendly, and a very nice long stretch of beach to walk and enjoy!

    Beautiful, white-sandy beach with picturesque dunes. There is apparently a clothing-optional section of the beach if one is willing to walk some distance (although I have not been there, myself). The main beach is wide, relatively clean, safe and not usually crowded. It is a bit of a walk from the new parking area to get to the beach, but worthwhile for this uncrowded local gem. There is no walkway or boardwalk so getting over the dunes to the beach can be difficult for people with mobility issues and involves climbing over a sandy dune to get to the beach. One of my favourite PEI beaches.

    Blooming Point Beach is a hidden gem on PEI, popular with locals. The downside is how far away this parking lot is, and the sometimes poor condition of the road to the drop-off point. Dirt lot, but nice and big.
